Edited to add: Um. One of our cats posted this. Seriously. I stepped away from my couch for a few minutes and when I came back, he was lying on my laptop and the message telling me my post had been published was up on the screen. Apparently ooooo was all he wanted to say.

Was it “Ooooooo, my life is good” or “oooooooo, she’ll be pissed” or “ooooooo, I always wanted to do this” or “oooooo, this is my cry for attention”? Oh, the possibilities!
Most likely, “oooo, maybe if I break this she’ll get off her ass and play with me.” I suppose that’s the same as your last option.
I think Kitty is saying that he wants his own blog.
Well written cat, I was feeling the same way.
I think he was telling everyone that it’s his 4th birthday today. Happy Birthday Tom (and Midnight).
If your cat is like any I have known, its just sniffing around for food or attention…or just plain curious about you hitting the keys. And curiosity isn’t always a good thing for cats I understand!
a little caterwauling is what every blog needs now and then. 🙂
happy birthday, kitty(kitties?)
He finally got his secret message out! Keep an eye out for strange kitties in the neighborhood.
As an end to the story, poor little Thompson cat celebrated his birthday so enthusiastically Friday that not only did he make his first publication, he overate. He lost most of his birthday grass onto the bedroom floor at some point late in the night/early in the morning. Practicing for the future, I stayed in bed while Josh handled clean up.
